Where in the Bible does it say, "though shalt fleece thy neighbors with false cancer cures?"
|
The purveyors of nonsense have a new tool, E-mail. Last week I signed on and checked my mail as I always do. There was a letter touting a cure for cancer. A completely natural cure that scientists have known about for years. Here is that letter:The following site reveals the truth about the known cure and complete prevention of cancer. B17 was illegal to speak about but not on the internet. I was a terminal cancer patient and now I’m fine. This site will also show you how the FDA pushed this out of the U.S. I have to comment here. I wasn’t aware of a subject, in this country anyway, that was illegal to talk about. This is disturbing news indeed.Click here to go to our educational site. www.canceranswer.com [Link Defunct - Ed.]
Genesis 1:29 And God said, “Behold I have given you every herb bearing seed which is upon the face of all the earth and every tree, in the which is the fruit of a tree yielding seed; to you it shall be for meat.” (meat means food in this context) I Corinthians 1:27 “But God hath chosen the foolish things of this world to confound the wise; and God hath chosen the weak things of the world to confound the things which are mighty.” Sincerely,
Christian Brothers
We have now figured out how to remove people from our mailing list so if you would like to be removed put remove in the subject heading and e-mail us at canceranswer@eom.net By the way, B17 is Laetrile. There is no mention of Laetrile in the letter. I found it out by visiting the above-mentioned web site. It took some nosing around too. They now seem to prefer the name B17 over Laetrile. I can’t imagine why that is. Also at the web site I found a little background information about B17 and the reason our government has allowed so many to die needlessly of every kind of cancer…by Joe Vialls
During 1950 after many years of research, a dedicated biochemist by the name of Dr. Ernst T. Krebs, Jr., isolated a new vitamin that he numbered B17 and called ‘Laetrile’. As the years rolled by, thousands became convinced that Krebs had finally found the complete control for all cancers, a conviction that even more people share today. Back in 1950 Ernst Krebs could have had little idea of the hornet’s nest he was about to stir up. The pharmaceutical multinationals, unable to patent or claim exclusive rights to the vitamin, launched a propaganda attack of unprecedented viciousness against B17, despite the fact that hard proof of its efficiency in controlling all forms of cancer surrounds us in overwhelming abundance. I just have to wonder how many pharmaceutical multinational conspirators, or members of their families, have died of cancer since the discovery of this cure. They know the truth about Laetrile. Do you suppose they choose death rather than risk discovery?
Mr. Vialls goes on to explain how easy it is to diagnose cancer. A simple urine analysis will do. All those x-rays, blood tests and biopsies are pretty much unnecessary. And here is the best part: B17 seems to have been endorsed by no less an expert than God himself. There are biblical quotes all over the site.
Interested in trying some B17? You can, but it’s going to cost you. $12.95 gets you a pound of apricot seeds. Hopefully they come with instructions. If you prefer, you can buy B17 in pill form. $34.00 gets you one hundred 100mg tablets. I guess that’s the preventative dose because $114.00 gets you one hundred 500mg tablets.

In other news:
Also, in my mail this week came a letter that made this claim:I have a question for you: The people in China who are being raised from the dead by the name of Jesus, how do you explain that? Can you still say that there is no God? There are many more incidents I can use to defend the truth if you need by reliable sources: friends, family, God Himself, and me. If you want to know anything feel free to ask. Jesus loves you! :-) I have responded to this letter and I’m still waiting for a reply. I’m sure the reason it’s slow in coming is because he wants to make sure of the accuracy and reliability of his sources. If you’re like me, you may have questions for a defender of the truth with reliable sources. The sender’s e-mail address is CAVOD@aol.com.
I have not followed up on my personal witch hunt against Crown Books. Why? Because culling the newspaper for silly Crown Books ads was just too damned boring. I tried, people, I tried…
Quackwatch has even more on the subject.
