There you go, between this and prayer, the world should be perfect in about ten minutes:

EFT is an emotional healing technique trauma, PTSD, phobias, grief, anger, guilt, anxiety, etc.) which is also capable of dramatically relieving many physical symptoms (pain, headaches, asthma and more). It often does the job in minutes and its results are usually long lasting. It frequently provides relief where other techniques fail and has a high success rate (typically 80% or better). Side effects are almost always positive.

EFT is based on a revolutionary new discovery that violates most of the beliefs within conventional psychology. It contends that the cause of all negative emotions is a disruption in the body's energy system. In essence, it is a psychological version of acupuncture except that needles aren't used. Instead, specific meridian points are tapped with the fingertips while the person is "tuned into" their issue.

Do you think it would cure my irrational fear of B.S.? At over $500.00, (not including sales tax), for the entire package, they better send dancing girls--Or boys, depending on your, or my personal preference.

EFT was developed by Gary Craig whose academic training includes a Stanford engineering degree. While personal healing has been his passion for over 30 years, Gary is neither a licensed therapist nor a trained psychologist. He is an ordained minister, a Certified Master Practitioner of Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP) and is a Certified Master of The Callahan Techniques. Many of the concepts underlying EFT came from Gary's training in Thought Field Therapy (TFT) under the tutorship of Dr. Roger J. Callahan. EFT differs from TFT in that it employs only one comprehensive tapping routine which is used for all emotional and physical problems. By contrast, TFT requires the use of 10 or 15 individualized tapping routines.

Very telling paragraph.
The whole idea is IMHO, bullshit.

Do you think that he could reduce the bone spurs in my spinal fusions?

If I thought for a minute that it was anything but more pasture pie, I'd try it!

Pain is a wonderful encouragment for experiment. Which is what makes a lot of quacks rich.

Evolution is a bankrupt speculative philosophy, not a scientific fact. Only a spiritually bankrupt society could ever believe it.... Only atheists could accept this Satanic theory.

No need for humility Lisa, it is BS.

It has all the classic trappings of psuedoscience - claims to cure everything, be a "new discovery," relies primarily on case histories (check out the section on EFT research, they are "just starting" and warn that the "wheels of science turn slowly") and despite being such a radical change it is not accepted by mainstream medicine.

Also sounds very similar to the recent "energy field manipulation" fad.

I was working late watching (or rather listening) to home shopping tele and there was some blonde chick flogging magnetic blankets...

She was being asked questions in the usual tele-advertising way and stated, and I quote "Well (insert name here), we have no scientific proof that this product is beneficial, however I personally sleep a lot better than I used to"

I had my credit card out in seconds after that mind blowing statement and bought a dozen of 'em....NOT
