Okay, I know we've all talked about Jack Chick many times...but you have to see this. It is more awful than anything he has ever produced IMHO

Ugh. I need a shower.

Generally speaking, the errors in religion are dangerous; those in philosophy only ridiculous.

It is rather realistic. I just don't think that it is a good advertisement for religion.

There is the preacher/doctor who knew about the child abuse, but never saw it fit to do anything to protect the daughter. I can easily imagine this type of coward starting to give a sermon.

I also like the way the father just jumps on the idea that praying to God will somehow make all his past actions irrelevant. Somebody like this might actually want so much to believe that he can have a clean fresh start, that he will have a religious experience of self-delusion.

The assurance at the end about never going to hurt her again sounds very realistic, too. Those proclamations are from what I hear typical in abusive relationships. Too bad the strip ends there and does not show how he does it again despite his newfound religion.

The strip also shows some of the underlying mindset of religious fanatics: The fact that the wife 'has to' work is a sign that something is wrong and the idea that it is only a small step from pornography to child-abuse.

If I had a choice between losing "under god" in the pledge and losing sick people like Chick I would go with the latter.

Hmm, yes. Shit-for-brains has outdone himself this time.

I wonder if Hovind helped him on it as he has on others.

Oh sweet Cthulhu. Two of the most disgusting things in the universe - Jack Chick and child molesters.

Must induce vomiting....back now.

I swear, if shit-for-brain's God does exist, I would really rather suffer for eternity rather than worship such an evil creature.
