I really didn't think anyone took this seriously. Boy was I wrong. There's a chat room over on PalTalk devoted to this. At times there's over 50 people in there comparing theories about what will happen in May 2003. Amongst the claims: The earth will stop rotating The earth will be beset with 250-300mph winds A thousand volcanos will erupt Most of North America will sink/be flooded Say bye bye to the UK 90% of earth's population will die To survive, you must clean out you septic tank, and hide in it (don't ask) The alien reptilian/human hybrids will take over (I wish I was making this up) Planet X (Nibiru) is a brown dwarf the size of Saturn, which is 5 times the size of Earth(go back to math and science class, do not pass Go, do no collect......)
George (a very nice gentleman from NZ) has opened an anti-X room. We reeled in a few of the fence-sitters and disaffected last night. Several of them expressed interest in reading some credible science publications. Still, a lot of people are dead serious about this. Are we in for another Y2K or May 5 scare the crap out of the public debacle?
We have enough youth. We need a fountain of smart.

Speaking of Art Bell, did he or any of the other guys who had the Y2K nutcases on their shows ever own up the the fact that they (or their guests) were wrong, and did they ever give the customers money back for all those "emergency Y2K" kits? Perhaps there's some other questions you could ask Art Bell when you're on his show tonight.

Is this Planet-X the same one as the 'Nemesis' dark-star that is supposed to cause regular mass extinctions?
Who came up with the 2003 date and why have I never heard of it?

Yes. No. Heck, I don't know. This stuff is getting to be about as bad as time travel. Giving me about the same headache, though.
