Wha happened?
I tried to get on the BABB and all I got was the Plesk Server Administrator default page.
"If you see this page it means:
1) hosting for this domain is not configured or 2) there's no such domain registered in Plesk."
WTF.

Same thing here. Phil, if you're lurking, is everything OK?

The site was down for a few hours this morning, but is back up.
Months ago, my original webhost was bought up by a bigger one. I had a rather friendly arrangement with the first host; I helped him out a few times, and he didn't worry about the fact that I had a bandwidth of 20Gb a month, when I am allowed 3.
However, the new company, after several months, figured they had given me enough leeway. After I exceeded 20Gb this month, they cut the service. The only warning was an email sent out when the service was cut.
As it happened, I never got the email. I called them to find out what was up. Needless to say, I am a bit pissed about this. Sure, I got away with something for a while, but that arrangement was with the consent of the old host, and the new one agreed to keep it up for a while. Either way, I would have preferred more than -3 hours notice that my site was down.
Needless to say again, I am looking for a new webhost. I have my eye on one or two, and may switch over in October.

Phil,
You might want to contact Jeff, the Admin over at the JREF. He just dealt with a similar problem, and some of the forum members were able to offer some good suggestions for alternative webhosts.

Okay, this is weird. I still can't get to the site via the AOL browser. Johnno, after several smarmy and probably unnecessary remarks about AOL, tossed me a link that allows me to get there via explorer. (At least we were on PalTalk, so I could tell him to Bite Me in real time)
