All I see is an example of how the drive to procreate controls human consciousness and how human consciousness controls perception, wich one could argue, means, that from a certain point of view, human conscousness controls reality.
I see a boot kicking a football when I look at Italy and Sicily and a womans face when I look at Spain and Portugal. What does that say about natural forces and human consciousness?
I really don't see how this is tied in with enlightenment. From the subject I would have expected a map showing of social and cultural movements across europe in the eighteenth century or at least the exact location of Shangri-la. This is kind of a let down.

I am afraid I am missing the point here. I do think Hawaiian mythology is fascinating, but what does this have to do with control over nature? Are you trying to point out that humans are obsessed with sex, and that shows up in folklore? Also, what does this have to do with Creation/Evolution?

kauai is a mans head(i left out the cliffs that form a mustache)
oahu is a wang
molokai,lanai,and kahoolawe are an erect schlong and testes
maui is a lady
hawaii is a pregnant lady giving birth(live volcano)
The placenames,and histories,and myths, are
synchronous with the shapes etc.
The hawaiians had no maps,the first accurate
map of the islands were made less then 200 years ago.

Oh, Yuk! There's nothing more disgusting than a pregnant woman execpt maybe a baby. I've always like watching volcanos and think they are fascinating. Thanks for ruining my thoughts about them.

If he can take care of himself then that's ok but I see most people treat little kids as though they are helpless, I couldn't handle that. Toddlers who can speak and communitcate logically, (no whining, just talk in proper words) are fine, otherwise don't bother me with them either.
