I was perusing Kent Hovind's Dr. Dino website this evening and happened to notice (indeed, couldn't help but notice) the great quantity of merchandise he has for sale. There are no fewer than 3 merchandise pages that link from the homepage (including the bookstore and miscellaneous). He has books, Chick tracts, caps, bumper stickers, mouse pads, and, so help me, creationist ties. All this no doubt helps to defray the cost of his ministry. If we are truly going to compete with the creatinists, er, creationists, I think we should extend this into the arena of free enterprise and develop our own line of Skeptic Friends products. Parody tracts, evil-utionist mousepads, Darwin pen and pencil sets; the possibilities are endless. What do the rest of you think?

We have a fully operational shopping cart system available on this site and could easily open a store if skeptics have books or any other item they would like to attempt to market. It's pretty slick.

I'm working on a new natural diet. I call it the Hemlock Diet. It's still in the testing stages and, well, It works every time. What I need is a few human subjects for a double blind test. Any takers? Some day the Hemlock Diet might be sold on this very site!
