I am going to suggest this at my next AU meeting:
Each chapter should buy a truck, hook up a giant loudspeaker a la Blues Brothers, and drive slowly through local neighborhoods perhaps once a week with the following message (or something similar) repeating:
Good day. We would like to inform you that your children can not be prevented from praying or worshipping in school now, tomorrow, or ever. Thank you for listening. |
I believe that, as a species, human beings define their reality through suffering and misery. -Agent Smith |

Haven't these Xians learned that people don't like people to try to change their religion *cough-jehova's *cough
For years at Elementry school we would have christmas concerts until one year the school board finally decided it wasn't right to cut out all the Muslems, Jews, Athiests, Hindu's, Traditional First Nations, Buddists, etc... from these concerts, because of the advent scenes. So now we have wonderful 'Winter concerts' where all the children and parents are allowed to attend and will be doomed (or saved) by cheesey christmas songs with lyrics changed with 'winter' repacing 'jesus' or 'christmas'.
Its so funny to watch these hardcore christians squirm during: "Silent Night, Silent night all is cold, all is bright 'round the blaaAAAzing fire. etc etc

There's the fundies for you, bringing their own brand of "religious freedom." I wonder if they know what tyranny of the majority is? Because that is what these idiots advocate. |
