It sounds like a conspiracy theory right? Unfortunately, it is very well documentated. I was completely shocked when I watched this video event held by my church to show us what was going on. The people who did this video did an excellent job of documenting and verifying everything that went into this video, and it is over 4 hours long. It has been difficult for even non-believers to dispute with (our church has an outreach at UT), as the evidence is so obvious and very graphic.

Yes, please watch the whole thing when you can. Our church broke it up into 4 weeks of viewing (1 hour each) and that really is probably almost all you can take of it without it having a serious effect on you...
I know after each session, our college/career pastor giving the video always prayed that those believers leaving there that night would not be haunted by the images they saw.
It is powerful, people!
I don't have a working soundcard so I'll have to wait before I can check this stuff out and see if it's just more paraniod "Chick-esque" BS, or something else.

Darn it. None of the text on either of the two sites is at all clear about just how they believe that music can exert a Satanic influence. I wonder if they're into that ol' "play it backwards" thing, but there's no way to tell but to sit through an unknown quantity of their movie. Sorry, but that's a bit thick.
If anyone does watch it, kindly mention whether there are any "backwards masking" claims. I'm curious because I put a backwards Satanic message in a rock 'n' roll record once.  |

Ahhh, it didn't occur to me before to look at the guestbook.
Maybe I should post something there about the song I put the message in. I think the CD might still be around (Heck, I've still got around 20 copies that I never gave away because it- well, the technical term is "sucked").
It would be funny if there were a sudden demand for They Eat Their Young's unknown disc by curious creduloids, five years after we made it. Would serve 'em right as well. The message was designed to mess with the heads of the sort of people who look for that sort of thing, and I mixed it so as to make it painfully obvious that there was something backwards in there.

Does stairway to heaven contain any bad message if you play t in reverse mode, or does it scratch your nerve to get as speedy as your nickname sounds ?
"Big boys don't cry..."(any youth film), Bad Boys (as a band name, The boys are back in town (Bon Jovi),... but about bad boys nobody tried to sing...!
You are hunting from hell to hell (bad, bad, bad boy ... you make me feel so sad!... oh yes, but who sang it ?), shown by AC/DC: "...on the highway to hell"... your next?
Supercalifragilisticexspiraligethisch ? No idea how the exact spelling of that high conspirative word is up to. Just do not recommend all kids to follow, the Lemmings game is really out of todays markets I guess (is it?).

In otherwords, it's alright to listen to music which says, Sit down - Shut up - be compliant - you might as well do what they say - don't make waves, be a sheep, do as your told, yadda yadda yadda - HorseDroppings!!!

As I have, on numerous occations in the past, been regarded as the Anti-Christ, I feel compelled to reply to this topic..
1. Satanism is an officially recognised religion, so simply claiming something is bad because it is Satanistic is begging the question of why satanism is necessarily worse than any of the other lame-brain religious doctrines out there which teaches people to be sexually inhibited, scientifically ignorant, and generally bigoted. In fact, if any of the "satan-scared" have bothered to pick up a copy of the Satanic Bible by Anton LaVei, they'll see that, apart from the sections on magic, he is quite concerned about liberal, freethinking values.
2. I suppose if Christian rock-groups had backward messages on their tracks saying things like "contribute to Jesus now", it would be okay?
3. It seems that to many, communism and satanism go hand in hand, despite the fact that they are hugely seperate in geneology. Welcome back McCarthyism...
4. Maybe parents should be more worried about actually understanding the music and lifesyles of their kids, rather than condemning both. Just an idea...acceptance you know, how novel... A major cause of adolescent depression is the belief that their parents don't understand or care to understand their lives. |

Personally I think the Teletubbies are the antichrists.
Why would you want to play songs backward for I mean I know some are bad played in normal ways but playing them backward what are you nuts |

Funny you should mention this. Odd situation, my kid gets annoyed that I listen to Slayer on occasion, while she'd rather listen to Disturbed. I don't think I have a problem understanding the music or accepting the clothing etc, she has a problem with my music choice being to violent, sometimes. |

I have also found that younger folk have found my music too offensive/loud on occation! I would never have guessed...
It is unfortunate however that many parents would rather listen to Dr Phil, mainly because he tells them what they want to hear, rather than their children. |
