Register for that Spoon Bending Course today. For only a $25 "donation" (you don't get anything if you don't give anything)you can learn to bend spoons with your mind and create world peace. The course is starting. Save the world by changing the shape of your fine silver. Next week, turn your Cheerios into Cheeritriangles.

You have to give to all those people who, want to achieve world-peace by spoonbending or yogic 'flying'; becoming hopelessly delusional and totally removed from reality is probably the best strategy to end up living in world where no human will do another human harm.

It is just a matter of progessievly larger delusions until you end up on planet happy with the pink fluffy clouds.

I certainly can't see any other approach working.

To any insufficiently advanced person technolgy becomes indistinguishable from magic.

Feh! Nothing to it! Any idiot can bend spoons as was proved beyond a doubt by neighbors of mine when I lived in VT. They used to hold spoon-bending parties, now and again, and kept a big box of mishappened flatware, the cheap stuff, toward that end.

Everybody would gather round on the floor and grab a piece of this crap, and try to bend it, Geller style. Guess what? Nobody ever failed to bend their spoon, including myself.

And we STILL lack world peace, after all that effort put forth and intoxicants consumed.

Maybe that's the key to getting James Randi's money. Fill him up with intoxicants first.

My guess is that I'd be under the table seeing all kinds of things bending before he did.
