Walt, whatever you just did it screwed things up again. Pages won't open past your name, the avatar--or whatever the picture after your name is called-- is blank as is whatever you have writen.
Sigh, why does it have to happen on somebody whose stuff is actually interesting?

Just as a second data point, threads with Walt's posts in them have always opened and looked fine for me. I'm using IE 5 at work, and IE 6 here at home.

I have fixed, for now, the problem. It has to do with a modification to avatars I installed that allows members to use their own. Unfortunately, it's as buggy as hell and I will probably have to remove it.
This problem has only been unbearable for Mac users.

I sincerely hope the problem isn't due to some stupid thing I've done. I'm fairly new to computers and the Internet, so it would be quite easy for me to screw up. Perhaps I should try to get an avatar, if that would help.
I just had a thought. Could it have something to do with my using a library computer? |

No no, it's not you. It's this silly avatar code. I tried to impliment something that would allow people to use their own avatars but I can see now that the code is far too much trouble. I will try to remove it in favor of the old method this week.
