So, PhDreamer is up to his old tricks, accidentally deleting posts , Phantom makes a change to his NDE OP and doesn't appear to mention why, and Computer Org is getting bizarre quotes.
Should the edit feature really be allowed to survive?
Personally, I'll never use it, except, perhaps, by accident. There's too much of a "rewriting history" vibe to it, if you catch my drift.
Heck, I find it annoying that the "preview" and "reset fields" buttons are so close together. That bit me once, erasing my potential post, so if I know I'm going to type a lot, I do it in Notepad, and cut-and-paste. But I can't remember - without looking at a thread - where the "edit" button is in relation to anything else, so perhaps accidental editing isn't going to be a problem for me.

Ah! There's the edit button!
One suggestion might be to right-justify the edit and delete buttons, to keep them as far from the reply button as possible. That might minimize the headaches for at least one person here. |

Hey, watch it. I've got a loaded "edit" button and I'm not afraid to use it. |

Is that an edit button in your pocket, or are you... Oh, nevermind. |
