Jeez, I'm out for the weekend and BAD A is off line? My guess is a troll decended and things got out of hand.

From BA site:

"March 22, 2003:
Big news! I have moved the website to a new server, which should provide faster access, and the ability for me to do some fun things in the near future, like redo the Bad Astronomy Newsletter and add other features. There will be some bumps in the road (for example, the Bad Briefs page has some broken links) but I hope to get all those cleared out in the next few days. Please be patient, and stick around! I'll be announcing the new stuff very soon. "

Was probably your culprit.

Entropy just isn't what it used to be.

Yeah. I just talked to Phil last night on PalTalk. He's moving servers. He didn't think there'd be any interruption in service, but it was sort of a fingers crossed situation. I swear, he really thought the changeover would be invisible to users. Buts lets face it folks, in the internet world, shit happens.

Thanks for the info. Was imagining big hairy trolls crawling out from the dark crevasses, throwing punches. Glad to hear it's just a update of services there.

Well, goody. The BA board is up and running. Will have to peruse the forum to check out the new toys/flashy parts.

But now, (03/31/03 through 04/01/03) I get an "Exceeded Bandwidth" message for the entire BA Website . Hope things can be fixed.

I have been busy all week and mostly away from my computer and look what happens. Randy is off, then on, then off, before I can even test it!

I will try it again.
