I'm breaking a self-imposed rule; that of no longer discussing the Supreme Vermin currently infesting our White House. But this is just too interesting to simply let lie (pun intended).

So why, at 9:03 a.m. - fifteen minutes after it was clear the United States was under terrorist attack - did President Bush sit down with a classroom of second-graders and begin a 20-minute pre-planned photo op? No one knows the answer to that question. In fact, no one has even asked Bush about it.

Yeah, filthy, that must indeed have been a very interesting day! There is more on it in the thread "The Great Deception", specifically, this link.

I suppose there are going to be all kinds of theories about this terrible day. It's what happens when the boy cries wolf. You just don't know when to believe him any more.

Mistakes are a part of being human. Appreciate your mistakes for what they are: precious life lessons that can only be learned the hard way. Unless it's a fatal mistake, which, at least, others can learn from.

Al Franken
