I once had a friend who used to donate to the PTL club. I dropped by one morning and found him and his wife writing a check for $20 to sent to Bakker. "Keith," I said, "That man wears shoes costing more money than you pull down in a month, and you're sending him a chack? You ought to write him a letter asking him to send you one."
Whaddya think? Will Benny eventually follow the decending path of Jimmy (who was in residence not far from me, for a while)? One hopes.......

Goes to show that even an idiot can make the bigtime in America. I've seen a video of one of his shows. I wondered how anyone could possible take the thing seriously.

Benny is on over here at 5:00am, in the morning.
The show is hilarious. As I work nightshift, I often get to hear his dulcet tones.
The other morning he was not just healing, but doing mass healings. People falling on the floor all over the place.
Quite funny.

Mistakes are a part of being human. Appreciate your mistakes for what they are: precious life lessons that can only be learned the hard way. Unless it's a fatal mistake, which, at least, others can learn from.

| The only thing scarier than Hinn is that Native-American preacher who claims that when God has forgiven him for his sins, God will turn him into a white man. What a great mix that is: fanatical religion plus racial self-loathing. (Saw him on a program with Hinn, which is what makes the connection for me.) |
