Does this mean her commercials will be yanked off the air as well? I don't watch too much TV. Commercials I can usually tune out. But that woman is like fingernails on a chalkboard! I realize that being annoying isn't against the law, but in her case, I'm willing to make an exception.
Before the Psychic Friends went down the tubes, didn't they have some legal problems too? Maybe there's hope that this could be the beginning of the end.

Psychic Friends went under due to (snicker) "bad investments" (tee hee). I always thought that if they had "real" psychics, they should make a killing in the stock market. That was fodder for the late night shows for a while.
So what is it about the commercials that bugs you? Is it the intermittent Carribean/Detroit accent? The blatant lies spouted by "Miss Cleo"? Knowing that some idiot schmuck will call her to get "guidance" for their problems?
Well, if Miss Cleo "knowds da troof" then she should find a real job.

Well, then......double d'oh!
Just goes to show how us psychic skeptics are watching this story unfold.
Several years ago a so-called psychic was on the Dave Letterman show.
After a bit of chat about his line of work, Letterman asked him if he could borrow a "green" ink pen; of course the guy said he didn't have one.
Dave says, "Geez, you being a psychic, you should had known I'd ask you for one."
(audience goes nuts!)

2) Yes
3) Oh good grief most definitly yes. This bugs me most of all. People are so afraid to think for themselves that they'll pay some second-rate actress to think for them. (Although I've never heard of anyone actually talking to "Miss Cleo", they're routed to the next available "psychic".
