Is it just me who finds it ironic that Bush is blaming the same media, which has covered his arse so well for the past two years for not reporting or "filtering" the truth about Iraq?
This is the same media who has given this man and his administration a pretty free ride over allegations of lying and misleading the American public over the war in Iraq and his handling of the economy.
He is now out and about telling us how great it is in Iraq, that the media only reports the bad things and that this “War on Terrorism” is going well.
Well going on pre-emptive strikes by Israel, suicide bombings by Palestinians, bombings in India and Pakistan, let alone the daily violence in Iraq, I think it is going to be hard for the man to bullshit his way out of the hole that he has dug himself into.
What do you guys think?????

Mistakes are a part of being human. Appreciate your mistakes for what they are: precious life lessons that can only be learned the hard way. Unless it's a fatal mistake, which, at least, others can learn from.

Did you watch any of the last Democratic debate? The worst any of them would speak about the war was that it was a "tragic mistake" rather than a brutal crime.
Bush is winning his war against reality, thanks in large part to the corporate media. |

What?
95% of the mainstream media were propaganda machines for the Bush administration during the war. Hell, Faux News (aka Fox News) is essentially a disseminator of conservative dogma.
CNN's Christiane Amanpour is quoted as saying the media stationed in Iraq were censored and that they also self-censored.
The idea of a "liberal media" has become gospel truth to most conservatives. Yet they'll tell you in the next breath that Faux News gets higher ratings than CNN, or that Rush is (was) the most-listened to commentator in X state, etc....Any contradiction there? Nah. Any truth in books that challenge the notion of a 'liberal' media? Of course not; the books are written by liberals too.
Bush's comments are more BS from the most masterful BS political machine in modern times: the neocons.

"It's the liberal media's fault" is what you say when you're obviously too old to get away with "the dog ate my homework".
