That makes two of us :) I like this quote:
quote:
Football Jesus talks to Daunte Culpepper

Football Jesus: "Looks like the Turnover Bug bit you last year."

Daunte Culpepper: "You got that right, Football Jesus! Any tips on avoiding the blitz?"

Must be a sign or something...

Jesus pre-game prayer...
Dear me,
I pray to me for guidance to stomp the shit out our opponent tonight.
In my name,
Jesus

Or maybe....

Call up Moses to part the defensive line.

"We are all connected; to each other biologically, to the earth chemically, to the rest of the universe atomically."

"So you're made of detritus [from exploded stars]. Get over it. Or better yet, celebrate it. After all, what nobler thought can one cherish than that the universe lives within us all?"

I can't remember which comedian said it, but why is it that you never see an interview with a losing football team in which one of the players says, "Jesus made me fumble"? Seems only fair, that is, if they're going to credit Jesus when they win.

Sorry, I think the fundamentalist's marketing team already made that one into a bumper sticker. They might sue for copyright infringement.

Sounds like something Carlin would say.

"Say what you will about the sweet miracle of unquestioning faith. I consider the capacity for it terrifying and vile!"

Well, Trish, someone over at Stupid Evil Bastard agrees with you (see the comment from "Pablo" about halfway down the page). Musta been Carlin, then.

Thanks!

Thought so, wonderfully sarcastic sense of humor.
