Aside of my more serious minded studies that I am doing with the aid of:

I am also trying to compile a collection of freaky TV Evangelists, recordings of live Exorcisms, scary Christian Puppet Shows, ect.

Something to search for, if you have Direct Connect, Kazaa or similar:
A heavy metal band called "Stryper" has made a bunch of albums, some of them more classic fundamentalist than others. One of the funnier lyrics is to be found in the song "To hell with the Devil"

There's also the Swedish rock/metal band "Jerusalem" has a song called "Dancing on the head of the Serpent". It was written during a period when they were closely tied to the Swedish branch of (what I believe you americans call) Word of Life. I think that qualifies as hard core. Or were you thinking more in terms of sermons?

Anything fanatical, the strasnger and more out there and over the edge, the better! :)
Thankx for the tips, I'm definatly familiar with God's little head banger, Stryper, but not the latter. |

Is it just me, or does the very idea of Xtian heavy metal seem like other examples of someone missing an important point, like:
non-alcoholic beer
fat-free half-and-half
kissing your sister

Regarding heavy metal... I supposed they want to regain lost territory. Metal has in the past been associated with pagan worship, but not so anymore. Queensr˙che has proven that metal can successfully blend with secularized intellectualism.
