I thought Jesus saves.

Jesus may save, he just doesn't inspire critical thinking or spelling skills.

The first couple of posts were kind of amusing. But after a while it got rather depressing. I guess it's hard to laugh when you stop to realize this kind of ignorance and lack of critical thinking is so rampant.

P.S. Why can't these people figure out how to use a spell checker, or how to turn off Caps Lock, or how to use a period, or how to think critically?

Indeed. We occasionaly have creationists come in here demonstrating poor grammer and spelling skills, but many of these listed are atrocious. I have difficulty believing that someone intelligent enough to run a computer on the web, hold a job and so forth cannot express himself coherently. Sometimes I wonder if they are not pulling our collective legs and giggling madly at the responses they get.

It really is sad, whatever their beliefs, because if a person writes like an idiot, others will think of him as an idiot, deserved or not. And who wants to discuss anything with an idiot?

We have all seen writings that were so poorly done as to be gibberish, and simply not bothered to try and decypher them.

Oddly, apart from typos and minor spelling goofs (I am a prime offender, here) most evolutionists write pretty well. I think it is a matter of craftmanship. Having written for publication, I tend to be critical of myself and want my sentence and paragraph structure to be just right. Only in that way can I firmly put forth whatever topic I'm trying to cover. Thus, I can feel confident that my statments will be read, if not agreed with.

So, why do I occasionaly post crap like this? Nobody really cares, after all.

Well, we have lurkers! Yes, shy people who have not yet discovered Powdermilk Biscuits. Nice folks all, who want to participate but are too bashful to get involved. But there is always the chance they'll someday grab a biscuit and sidle on in (the door's never locked and we welcome everybody) and talk at us. "Creationism is not the alternative....." is a demonstration of how not to go about it.

Yuppp... Well, we shouldn't criticize them. Life would be so dry if we didn't have idiots to develop irony on. :)

I forgot all about the fact that I wanted to mention here that I think "CRAM IT IN THE TREE" would be a very funny "war cry" for the side of science in the evolution/creation debates. Of course, it'd be taken wrong by many.

Well, try not to annoy John Stear while you're at it. He is, after all, just publishing the emails he gets.

Yes, and Moses invests.

There is a recent update, but as it's the same 'ol shit, even a couple of re-runs, I haven't bothered to post it. Maybe next time, if there's something original, or at least funny.
