Poll Question:
What should be the ultimate fate of professional moon hoax proponents like Sibrel, Rene, and Kaysing. Outspoken HB trolls from the Bad Astronomy Board, like Piper, have honorary(?) pro status for this poll. I've run this before, but it was quite a while back and some of the BA veterans may not have seen it. Attitudes may have hardened in the meantime as well. Some new and even more heinous, er, creative, options have been added. For entertainment only. I am not suggesting that any of this would be legal (except #6), just fun.

Well, I voted for #6 'cause I'm a big wuss about bloodshed, but I think we oughta tease 'em a little too. No one will ever change Piper's mind but it does the world good to publically present an intelligent alternative to his Moon Hoax nonsense. I visited the Lunar Anomalies site he mentions, and it's the usual thing--pictures of rocks and footprints, some kludged up so you can see the outlines of the pixels.

You should have added something like "Give them all a heap of money and believe them" just so that there is something that wontn get any votes.

Geeses Krist! Didn't any of you people see 'Capricorn 1'? It could very well be a hoax. Sheesh. AND, where ARE all our tax dollars going, anyway?

All the more reason to sell their miserable carcasses to the lizard alien meat vendors before they expose the whole scam and cost us the millions we scientists each make from duping the public.

Wait! You mean you're getting paid? And here I was duping the public for free. I feel so used!

I voted for the Apollo 11 site, but should give 'em a few hours of time on the surface along with a flag to plant (to witness their own handling causes the flapping), along with a camera (to record how shadows behave going up and down the terrain - just like on Earth), along with a Rover (to watch how kicked-up lunar dust behaves in 1/6th gravity), to appreciate the fact of the thousands of people required to get them up there in the first place, to witness their own SURVIVAL travelling thru the Van Allen radiation belt, to witness that the Space Shuttle is truely NOT designed to travel to the moon and back, to witness the fact that we did and we can indeed place a human on another celestial body. Lastly, to watch their ONLY ride back to Earth, the LM, blast off from the lunar surface, straight up without the use of any crane.

I voted for Apollo 11 also, but would have liked to seen a combination of sending them to the moon and the nursing home one. Send them to a nursing home on the moon! That way they won't clutter up the earth...

I voted for the Apollo 11 site, but would also want them to end their days in a cheap flop house (rest homes being too good for them). Then again, we could send them out to that phony desert movie stage where they said the Apollo program was produced and see if they can manage to produce anything at all, let alone of value. Critics of excellence usually do not have the intelligence to do anything at all when given the chance. Losers talking big are a real pain...

I voted for "ignore them", with the understanding that *everything* possible must be done to counteract their libels and dreadful disregard for science and coherent thought ...
... but only because "suing them for everything they are worth" would never work.

Boot 'em out the air lock! Yeesh! At least they might then begin to believe that we really trully did land on the moon.

They would probably believe we gave them something like LSD.
Their belief is too important to abandon when new evidence comes along.

Out the airlock with them! But give them a suit, and enough air to sit and consider their position for a while, after the ship takes off without them.

That is the phonyist looking photo I've ever seen. It's a made up shot from a Hollywood photographer, lighting and all. So you see, they really didn't land on the moon. |
