"So you're made of detritus [from exploded stars]. Get over it. Or better yet, celebrate it. After all, what nobler thought can one cherish than that the universe lives within us all?" -Neil DeGrasse Tyson |

OH JOY! Edith Prickley, Guy Caballero, Bobby Bittman, Sammy Maudlin, William B. Williams, Lola Heatherton, Floyd the Barber, Johnny LaRue, and the Shmenge Brothers! (Just to name a few.)
I'll never forget coming home from a late night radio shift years ago, and unwinding in front of the TV only to be startled by John Candy in a weirdest "Leave it to Beaver" send-up! I called all my friends at 1 A.M.!
(Amazon is also selling a video titled: "The Best of John Candy on SCTV" but the SCTV set is welcome news.)
Thanks for the heads up...Howoyah! http://www.catalog-of-cool.com/sctv.jpg |
Diversity, independence, innovation and imagination are progressive concepts ultimately alien to the conservative mind.
"TAX AND SPEND" IS GOOD! (TAX: Wealthy corporations who won't go poor even after taxes. SPEND: On public works programs, education, the environment, improvements.) |
