“Our enemies are innovative and resourceful, and so are we,” Bush said. “They never stop thinking about new ways to harm our country and our people, and neither do we.”
My response to this was, "Well, at least he's honest about it."

Remember the late Richard Daley back in '68?

Finally, after 36 years, Hizzoner has been topped.

Indeed!
A mere slip on the tongue, of course, and worthy of no more than a good laugh at his expense. But he makes so many tongue slips that one wonders if he's not trying to help us read between the lines.
By the bye, Bush might not like people having a good guffaw or two at his expense. Which is all the more reason to get all but hysterical over it.
Ye gods, what an underachieving cretin the Supreme Court has foisted upon us!

Bush will never fail with his infamous "-isms." One thing he has done for this country is create a brand-new genre of humor, a reference that will soon be adapted into widespread American household language, if ever was one to say something the opposite of supposed meaning (yet seeming to be more honest than should), or use terrible grammar, or mispronounce common words, another shall remark the sentence contained a "Bushism." Children in the years to come will ask, "Mommy, what does Bushism mean?" Mommy will reply that Bushism means a grammatical or contextual mistake, and that it derived from the late and always-entertaining George. W. Bush, Jr!
Ah, George, what will you think up next! (ahahahaha...) |
