Hmm. I emailed the guy and asked him to come back and defend his ideas/article. Posting a thread starter and running bugs the heck out of me.
We'll see. As I said, I hear some of his ideas often enough. One other thing he mentioned was paying people to not have kids. My sister, who is in the field of social work, proposed at one point mandatory birth control (such as Norplant) for welfare recipients who keep having kids. Though the goal in her mind was simply economic--the idea that if you can't support your own children, then you shouldn't be able to have them, not the elimination of "less intelligent" offspring. |
