I wouldn't worry too much unless you don't have a firewall. Some guy in a chat room talked my son into turning off the firewall so he could supposedly help him with a problem. I told him it was a bad idea but let him do it. Sure enough, the guy installed a remote access program that allowed him to control our computer. We uninstalled it and my son got to hear, 'I told you so' for the umpteenth time. |

I'm a computer software idiot, so we got something better than a firewall--We have a lens cover. But, it doesn't matter, because neither my wife nor I knew you could use a webcam in chat rooms. Damn, I feel stupid!
