Hello everybody!
I'm here to push my log, in which I comment on all the evil and stupidity in the world, caused by people being stupid and evil.
If this sounds interesting to you, check it out at:

Hope to see you there!

What if I don't believe there is such a thing as "evil"? |

Interesting site, I suppose, but all of the stories posted I'd already seen elsewhere. But, I'll give him a B- for spam.
I myself do not believe in the word: 'believe'.

Actually, I have a problem with the underlying premise:All of my opinions and writings in this log build on a simple, underlying philosophy: humans are stupid and gullible. It should be clear that these qualities are independent of whether one believes in any of the "root causes of all our misery" or not. Exxon Valdez didn't happen due to an ideology, and Enron didn't happen because of religious tradition. Also, there are some very smart and very not-gullible people out there who are devoutly religious.
The attempt to paint the religious, superstitious, and/or pseudoscientific as gullible idiots only further divides them from their critics. It's insulting, and nothing more. It serves no constructive purpose, as they're not going to say, "I'm an idiot? Oh, now I see! Thanks a lot, Atheist Historian! I am now free!"
Sheesh. |
