I noticed in the Skeptic Summary this is the featured book of the week. I am currently right in the middle of it and have come to understand more about myself and my fellow humans than I could have ever imagined, not because I was afraid to, but because everyone around me is. I would recommend this book to any Evolutionist for so far it has explained to me half of all human behaviors (I'm getting to the other half). I have come to recognize the works of Desmond Morris and when I read another book of his, The Human Zoo it radically changed my ideas and my perspectives of the world around me in a way that only I could do. Desmond Morris provoked thought at that time I never knew I had or understood I could have.

Needless to say, i would definitely recommend this book.

I read a lot of books, yet the last book I read before this was Bukowski's Tales of Ordinary Madness which of course I highly enjoyed yet for this particular community, I don't feel it would be as good a topic as some others. I believe The Naked Ape is a valuable read. For those skeptics who have NOT read this book, why the hell haven't you? Well, I'm getting offline now to go finish the chapter on Fighting.

They also say they've made this book into a movie......... I have never seen this movie but plan on finding it somewhere.
