Make up a new poll question once a month.
Could be a good way to encourage discussion on certain selected topics.
Just a thought.

Excellent idea. When I first joined SFN I kept checking the "Featured Poll" at the bottom of the home page assuming it changed regularly. It's remained on the "How much of the bible have you read?" since then. Perhaps we could start a thread for poll suggestions? Then Dave can pick one suggestion a week and put it up.
My suggestion for this week's poll: "What will win out in the Skeptic Times sponsored debate on Evolution vs. Creationism? Do you think it will be a) Evolution, or b) Ignorance?"
