It is important that you accept SFN cookies in order to log in and enjoy all of SFN's functionality. We can't make you accept them, but logging into SFN will not be possible if you do not.

I just got rid of a lot of cookies, but kept the sites which referred to use in the near past. I think that I was careful. There might be other sites which will not become available because of my rashness.

If you don't have a SFN cookie, then one will be created when you visit. Disabling cookies completely would be bad. You could never even log in.
