I think the term is 'pink elephant in the room' unless of course it is a race issue, which has been known as 'the white elephant in the room' or I could be delusional. |

No I was right, a White Elephant refers to something which costs more to maintain then its really worth, Example: The Hubble telescope is the biggest white elephant since the London bridge.

Um, hand in hand, I'd think. Most of these pollutants are put forth by sorces that also produce a lot of CO/2. Clean up one and you cut back on the other.
I am reminded of Venus. The atmosphere there is so acidic that droplets of sulpheric acid are in suspension in it. There's global warming writ large.

I meant the idea that there's an obvious issue on the table that everyone is, often uncomfortably, pretending isn't there. |
