Really not sure how to react to this...

It's from the London Telegraph, a very useful paper if you have a puppy to house break or some dead fish to wrap.
Just some English arsehole who can't get used to the fact that England is now a third rate back water country and no longer the terror of the world.

Yeah that's about right. It's a funny article in a way. First he says all that unflattering stuff at the beginning then apologizes at the end LOL

Could the author be a politician in disguise?

Interesting that the background color for that site is YELLOW.

Here is a very different editorial. One that puts it quite nicely

That was a nice editorial Marc, thanks for the link.

I think the big difference is we have never dilibertly targeted civilians. Even Hiroshima, Dresden and Nagasaki were ultimately military targets. (Civilian production of military material is a military target).

This had no military value of all ('cept for the pentagon, and there is a theory that they meant to hit the whitehouse, lost it in sprawl of washington, and headed for a large and readily recognizable target)

Yes, we've done horrible awful things. Things which I didn't agree with at the time. Like the bombing of Bosnia. But equating the invasion of Grenada, Panama, or Iraq with this is reprehensible and Browne should be ashamed of himself.
