Underlying the evolutionary theory is not just the classic "stuff" of science — conclusions arrived at through prolonged observation and experimentation. Evolution is first an atheistic, materialistic world view. In other words, the primary reason for its acceptance has little to do with the evidence for or against it. Evolution is accepted because men are atheists by faith and thus interpret the evidence to cor-respond to their naturalistic philosophy.

Mistakes are a part of being human. Appreciate your mistakes for what they are: precious life lessons that can only be learned the hard way. Unless it's a fatal mistake, which, at least, others can learn from.

If a tsunami were to strike there, the average world IQ would rise by several points.
Not that I wish them any physical harm, mind you, despite how reprehensible I find them to be.

The majority of the speakers at this absurd meeting are very intelligent. It never ceases to amaze me how someone with that much brain power would harness it not to discover truth but to support a belief system that has no evidence to back it up. I think most of these people believe what they are saying - think of the effort that must be used for these guys to delude themselves from objectively looking at the evidence.
Goes to show that IQ is only part of the picture.
By the way I don't recall seeing any women lecturers... sounds like it is right up Verlich's ally.

1 Tm 2:11-12 Let the woman learn in silence with all subjection. But I suffer not a woman to teach, nor to usurp authority over the man, but to be in silence. |

Are you implying that there would be advocates of evolution at Falwell's pathetic excuse for a school? That's rather amusing V.

Nope, that ain't the one. That one's been under there for years 'cause it's a dud that I haven't carried to the dump yet.
The one I'm looking for is the one given to me by Bush that I was supposed to smuggle into Iraq, but didn't.
Ain't that just my luck! Now that I have a use for it, I can't find the fucker!
If you happen to come across a large suitcase....
