This is probably old news to those of you who follow this stuff, but I have a couple of questions regarding the reconstructed inscriptions seen here http://www.arkdiscovery.com/sherd.htm.

Is Noah actually being depicted while swearing a blue streak after hitting his thumb with the hammer and why is a leprechaun releasing the bird?

I'm not sure. Had they not thoughfully included illustrations showing me what I'm supposed to see, I wouldn't have seen a damn thing. Okay, I still didn't see a damn thing.

If I find Noahs Ark with that be enough for eviloutionists to change their ways and stuff...

What came first the chicken or the egg?

How do plants exist without bugs in the soil, and bugs in the soil without plants producing oxygen?

There are no atheists in foxholes

Underlying the evolutionary theory is not just the classic "stuff" of science — conclusions arrived at through prolonged observation and experimentation. Evolution is first an atheistic, materialistic world view. In other words, the primary reason for its acceptance has little to do with the evidence for or against it. Evolution is accepted because men are atheists by faith and thus interpret the evidence to cor-respond to their naturalistic philosophy.

For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears; And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables. II Timothy 4:3,4

II Thess. 2:11 And for this cause God shall
send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie:

You can not see the 'wind', but you can see its effect!!!!

Evolution was caused by genetic mistakes at each stage?

Radical Evolution has 500 million years to find fossils of fictional drawings of (hard core)missing links, yet they find none.

We have not seen such moral darkness since the dark ages, coencides with
teaching evolution in schools. (Moral darkness)

For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places, EPH 6:12.

"Thus, many scientists embracing naturalism find themselves in the seeming dilemma recently articulated by biochemist Franklin Harold: "We should reject, as a matter of principle, the substitution of intelligent design for the dialogue of chance and necessity [i.e., Darwinian evolution]; but we must concede that there are presently no detailed Darwinian accounts of the evolution of any biochemical system, only a variety of wishful speculations."

No. Finding a big boat will not erase the evidence for evolution verlch.

If you find Noah's Ark and can definatively prove that it is what you say it is, it will not refute evolution. The existance or non-existance of the Ark is not a falsafiable test for evolution.

Only if I can find a big boat which wasn't made by noah and that will be enough for evil-creationists to change their ways and stuff.

Why continue? Because we must. Because we have the call. Because it is nobler to fight for rationality without winning than to give up in the face of continued defeats. Because whatever true progress humanity makes is through the rationality of the occasional individual and because any one individual we may win for the cause may do more for humanity than a hundred thousand who hug their superstitions to their breast.

Sorry, finding is not enough. Independant confirmation is also necessary.

Now, if you can come up with say, a trunnel, dated at, what, some 4,000 years by an independant labratory, from a hulk confirmed by professional archological team sponsered by a secular organization such as the Smithsonian, it would certainly change a lot of thinking.

But alas, it would not affect the Theory of Evolution in the least. That already has virtually an over-abundance of evidence in it's favor.

The Devonian Bunny however would be a different story. That would send the ToE to hell in a hurry.

Yeah, what Filthy said.

A Devonian period mammal would shut all us satanic freemason owlworshiping evolutionists up in a hurry.

Welcom to the forums, geni. Does this mean you have voted many times?

42%, not bad at all. Now if only we could do that well in the real world...

Oh yeah, my bad. I think I left out feminist and communist as well... oh well. The sentence was getting out of hand as it was.

Actually, I've been thinking about the Devonian Bunny(tm) for a bit this afternoon... I'm not sure that the discovery of a mammal in the paleozoic would trash ToE so badly.

This mammal pushes the appearance of mammals back 45 million more years to the early Jurrasic/late Triassic.
http://news.nationalgeographic.com/news/2001/05/0524_paperclipmammal.html

quote:
"Hadrocodium could be our distant cousin, an early mammal that existed alongside the ancestor of living mammals," he said. "Or it could be our great-great grand uncle, closely related to living mammals but not in our direct lineage. Or Hadrocodium could be the direct ancestor of living mammals."

Would the discovery of an older mammal do anything other than be exiting and give the systematics and taxonomy people massive headaches?

Now, of course, if a actual literal rabbit (Oryctolagus cuniculus) were dug up and reliably and independently dated to the devonian.... all bets are off, ToE is probably in the shitter.

How 'bout a Cambrian Croc?

In specific, if you mean finding a Crocodylus acutus
(or other croc species) that could be dated to the cambrian, then yes.

Same as actually finding a modern mammal fossil in the devonian. ToE would need some serious revision.
