I don't know if this one is even worth discussing, it is so far fetched. Coast to coast had this bizarre guest on last night, (what else is new), that claims there are people out there manipulating the weather. He doesn't know who, but they're out there.
His website is http://www.weatherwars.info . His evidence is all the weird cloud formations he has seen and photographed.
How people get these ideas is beyond me. Clouds come in weird shapes dude, get over it.

Anyone see what he sees? I don't. Perhaps if I have a beer ... it is hot today. |

Yes, absolutely. verlch and I will definatively prove that the evil Amerind shamans in conjunction with the Freemasonry conspiracy have worked together to cause rain with the Amerinds "rain dance".

Aren't these what conspiritores call Chemtrails? CoasttoCoast is big on this conspiracy... but the fact reamins the government has done many things to its people smallpox to the indians, agent orange to the Vietnam Vets... Many things.... Maybe the government is testing weather conditions, new ways to predict it, control it.. |

I swear I really don't get you type of people. You will always go for the wacky side for any explanation.
I heard leaves rustling - must be bigfoot... Look a light in the sky - it must be aliens, probably a 'grey'... I heard a floorboard creak - must be a ghost... Look a cloud - it must be the goverment controling the weather...

lmfao. I once saw a weird cloud formation. Weirder than those. It was a perfect column, rising straight to the sky, no other clouds around. I was in the car with my brother-in-law, we'd just returned from The day after tomorrow... it was a very cool cloud, I wish I could've photographed it.
As for those pictures, I see things like that everyday. |

That's just more evidence...
In fact, I belong to the weather conspiracy, so I have to patrol it everyday. |

So don't get pissed off at me for being amused by it. Maybe the government is controlling the weather... you freakin said that.

Didn't we have a thread on acceptable confrontation or something like that? Maybe it was on another forum.
Having signed off from a forum where a number of persons posted similar stuff like this toward me, I may be a bit sensitive. But I think it's possible to disagree with Storm without being rude. These kind of posts are hurtful and I think her reactions show the posts were hurtful.
No one is going to open their mind to new ideas if you just berate them. If you're too tired to post something more informative, maybe it'd be better to not post at that time.
So, back to the clouds. The day after I heard the show I looked up and there were 'square' clouds everywhere. The shapes were obviously as natural and normal as the clouds in the pictures. They just reflected the air currents.
Storm, one thing to keep in mind is the 'government' or any other group could not develop a major comprehensive advance in weather manipulation out of the blue so to speak. Science just doesn't advance that way. What you have to understand is major scientific advances don't happen all at once and don't happen in secret.
It'd be possible to develop a new jet like Stealth or the nuclear bombs in the 50s in secret. But the basic science behind both of those developments were not secret. Advances in science are made by tiny steps from many many people. Research and discoveries are public things.
As far as weather goes, if we were close enough to being able to manipulate the weather to the extent this guy was claiming, the main body of meteorology science would at least have a clue such a thing was possible, if not close to becoming a reality. And, there is just no way any such thing is even remotely possible with the current science in this field. |

You are probably right. I will refrain from being a jerk (at least try).
As for CONTRAILS. They do change the weather. We put tons of water vapor and particulates into the upper atmosphere. Of course this will have an effect on the cloud cover.
It is not a conspiracy, it is just a result of running gas turbines in the upper atmosphere.
