Well I got my reply...
quote: Paulos23, Your member account at Evolution Fairytale Discussion Board has been temporarily suspended.
Your account will not be functional until Jul 24 2016, 02:27 AM (depending on your timezone). This is an automated process and you do not need to do anything to expediate the unsuspension process.
Board Address: http://evolutionfairytale.com/forum/index.php
My post to the thread, since I will also be blocking your IP:
1) We do not lock threads because they threaten our position. If you do not agree with the reasons, then find a forum where threads don't get locked, and stop wasting our time with your whining.
2) As I mentioned when I started this forum, my experience tells me 90%+ of trolls and trouble-makers are evolutionists. That's just how I see it. I am fully aware I am biased like everyone else, but those who don't like it don't have to post here. It's their choice. That being said, I have also encountered evolutionists who want to have sincere debate and don't seek to waste their time or our time.
3) Since you did not heed our advice to not whine and complain, and since you made an unsubstantiated accusation that we locked the thread because it "threatened" our position, you get to join Xeriar. Bye.

And I entertained hopes, however faint, that he would eventually accept the challenge and debate with us here. Ah well. Let him remain in his Fairytale Land then, with his frightened, Hovind complex-addled, little following. I'd hate to upset their gentle sensibilities with factual information and the occasional demand for references to tear apart (I've no doubt he could come up with some doozies).
On edit: Yeah Dave, that struck me, as well. Poor Paulos got a pretty stiff sentence for merely disagreeing. We must send him cigarettes and candy bars.

I didn't realize that it was so long. Guess I really pissed him off, made him scared, or both.
After looking at the site again it is interesting to note that Admin3 felt he had to explain why he locked down the Geologic Time thread. It feels like they are covering up...
Oh well, my first banning. Mother will be so proud. Hopefully I have learned my lesson and it will be my last.
Edited to add: Hey, when did I get over 100 posts? |

Banned forum a Christian forum -- a rite of passage. You have done well, Grasshopper...
It's really a pity that these people simply refuse to entertain dissenting views. How else can one improve their own knowledge, one way or another, without delving into the knowledge of others?

You can't. But that's the point. They aren't interested in anything that does, or even might, contradict their narrow little view of the world.

No, but I don't spend much time here. The four main forums for debate have too much moderation, way too much.
Which four are those?
It was Christian forums (still there), Live Wire (still there), Theology Webs (don't post there), and a baptist board (doesn't exist).

You think those are the "main forums" for debating evolution and creation? Talk.origins tops the real list, and ARN is in the running (though from the other direction), too. |

Christian forums has one of the best places to debate Creation vs. Evolution. Theology webs DID have a good place when Dr. Safarti was there, but since he left it mellowed out.

I like christianforums, but think things have pretty much died down lately. Most creationists there at present are very low caliber and some of the evolutionist heavyweights have left the building. I looked at theologyweb a while ago but it seemed pretty much dead at that point (but that might also be me not looking carefully). |

Yeah, Theology Web was really good when Sarfati was there, but it hasn't been good since he left.

Nah, Peptide is really banned. I know, because I checked the 'banned members' list. Just as Apostateabe, who also had some really good posts. I don't know about the reasons they were banned.
I did a search and read up on Peptide's last 25 posts made at http://evolutionfairytale.com/forum/ In none of the posts did I find anything that could be objectional. Well, besides delivering crushing arguments against objections/apologetics.
It is obvious that they don't want people like Peptide there, because he's far too knowledgeable and calm debator for them to handle.

So Socratise abandoned TWeb? How 'bout that! He must have gotten tired of getting debunked by the crowd from II.
Heh, I myself once called him a jumped-up apothacary, after an ad hom attack (his best riff) on me. Needless to say, my presence is no longer welcome in those fair lands.
But it was fun.....
