None other than Jerry Falwell, a clown who would feel right at home in the Fourteenth Century, has filled in for Tucker Carlson, a clown who wouldn't know what the Fourteenth Century was, on Crossfire a couple of times. quote: CNN is reportedly searching for "a right-leaning replacement" for former Crossfire co-host Tucker Carlson. Since Carlson's January 6 departure from CNN, Baptist pastor and Moral Majority founder Reverend Jerry Falwell has filled in twice as the show's conservative co-host.
Falwell first co-hosted Crossfire on December 2, 2004; following Carlson's departure from CNN, Falwell co-hosted on February 2 and February 7.
I myself would like to see the fool get it on a permenant basis. I can't think of anything that would put paid to these asinine shows quicker.

I laughed when I read the first sentence: "CNN is searching for a right-leaning replacement". Gee, it must be hard to find right-leaning pundits, paid hacks of the Bush administration, corporate whores, brownshirts, Bible-wavers, or Republican kool-aid drinking shills-cum-journalists. Why...they're scarce, right? /sarcasm off.
I say let Falwell do it. The more he speaks, the more assinine he sounds. |

Man, you KNOW it's bad when CNN is tailoring programming to the political right....
But yeah. I agree. :et him on the show fulltime. I might actually watch it then, as it would be good for a laugh atleast. Maybe some CIA op will shoot Novak and we can replace him with some crazed religious pundit also.

And Carlson went to PBS.
The more I listen to Democracy Now the more the rest of them already look 'right' of the midline. |
