If you read the general forum there you'll find several recent messages about their "system being hacked" and having to "suspend e-gold payment" because of fraud etc.
Yeah, those nasty hackers stole all the money and left us with nothing. We are absolutely desolated by your loss. We lost everything too. It's too bad, because the accounts were doing so well. I also like the way the enrollment form requires a unique ID number, and lets you select from such desireable choices as Social Security and Passport numbers. Nice potential sideline in stolen ID numbers there.

I never cease to be amazed by the people who get suckered in because they want something for nothing. This whole scheme relies on that mentality. The people who "invest" are the same folks who spend a fortune on weight-loss plans that don't involve diet or exercise. 
Don't get me wrong, fraud chaps my ass. Still, stupid people wear on me, too.

Which charities are they, I wonder, and how might I contact them?
If I had a really nasty and suspicious mind, I might think that the officers of Global Investor's Network themselves were the main beneficiaries of the charities, but I'd never think such a thing... Oh, wait. I do have a really nasty and suspicious mind.

Here's the best part, they are going into the condom business and have it listed on NASDAQ by this year!!!
Members will be allocated pre-IPO placement shares and GINS garantee them a buy-back price above the placement price in the event the shares drop upon listing.
I fell off my chair and alomost die laughing when I heard the annoucement on their I-conference (I logged on to snop around and hear what they have to say).
Anyway, they transcript can be found in their forum under topic "I-conference". Iposted the transcript there for their "convenience".
