Is there no way to kill a pun?

Why continue? Because we must. Because we have the call. Because it is nobler to fight for rationality without winning than to give up in the face of continued defeats. Because whatever true progress humanity makes is through the rationality of the occasional individual and because any one individual we may win for the cause may do more for humanity than a hundred thousand who hug their superstitions to their breast.

4,289.70m, Ricky.

I've also been keeping track of my highest flight (211m) and longest flight off the starting line (990m or so - it's hard to tell).

Oh, man... 8,619.62m

I was already well past 5,000m when I hit something I hadn't yet encountered: a special which gave me a "Comic Force Field" (not a typo of 'cosmic'). It gives you a boost every time you hit the ground (with a nice "boi-oi-oing" noise). It was good for about 2,000 extra meters, bouncing higher and higher each time.

Oh, during the previous game, I hit a personal-record height of 262m.

There is not, but sometimes the pundits try.

(Yeah, I know. Pretty weak. But it's early in the morning and the coffee hasn't kicked in yet.)

The only thing I've managed to do was click to get the teleport-bike-aerial crash. Is it possible to do more?

Doesn't look that way to me. The "trick" is to try to time those aerial crashes to avoid the green girls ("STOP") and other nasty things (better yet, time them so that you aim for boosts). Oh, and I make sure to keep the mouse in that area of sky in which the word "SPECIAL" appears when you hit one, 'cause you've got to click the word to get the really good specials.

The best special by far is the one were it appears after running into the green girl (stop girl). I got two of those in a row and that is how I got my record.

The "Comic Force Field" comes from getting the special on that guy who will either change your angle or slow you down.

There is a 2nd "Comic Force Field" which you can get if you first run into the girl who will block your next move, then run into the guy who will slow you down and get a special there. It makes all the boosts twice as powerful.

Oh, and my current height record is 170m.

Well I just crushed my old record: 5879.52m! Lots of specials. I agree with Ricky that you get the cosmic combo when the "through... and run" girl tried to block on a special. I also got a "summon" one where the girl turned into some sort of samurai.

Highest I've ever gone was just over 100.00m, though.

OK. Enough for today...

That, if I'm not mistaken, is from the boost girl being "special," and clicking the word in time.

Dammit, now I'm going to have to start some sort of systematic process of discovering the damn rules.
