Here's an odd article that I thought folks here might enjoy.

Well, since the Messier catalog was put together in the 1700's, it's rather amusing to find the reporter claiming that Messier object 15 was "discovered" by the Hubble Space Telescope.

Thanks for the giggle, Mr. Crunge, and welcome to the SFN!

That reasoning sounds vaguely familiar...

There is of course, this article as well.

Edited to add:

Welcome to the SFN Mr. Crunge

Why continue? Because we must. Because we have the call. Because it is nobler to fight for rationality without winning than to give up in the face of continued defeats. Because whatever true progress humanity makes is through the rationality of the occasional individual and because any one individual we may win for the cause may do more for humanity than a hundred thousand who hug their superstitions to their breast.

Ricky, I copied and was about to quote the same thing you already did. The single one line it the article that speaks volumes about the "quality" of the rest of the article.

Thanks Mr. Crunge, and welcome to Skeptic Friends Network

From Ricky's article:

The simple common belief that UFOs propagate with anti-gravity lift and “known gyroscopic” principles is not correct.

And here I've been going around thinking that UFOs propagate with anti-gravity lift and “known gyroscopic” principles--is my face red!
