Been keeping up with the case of the aid workers arrested in Afghanistan? This all started before 9/11. They're accused of trying to convert Muslims to Christianity. Now, this sort of activity is verboten even is Islamic countries that like us. Probably not too smart in the Taliban stronghold. We all know they'll be found guilty, whether or not they actually are guilty is up in the air. For further confusion, we now turn to England. A reporter who, in her words, was "hungry for a story" got the bright idea of disguising herself as an Afghan (woman, not a blanket), and sneaking into Afghanistan. She made it 15 miles before being arrested as a spy. I listened to reports on both of these cases tonight. I don't know what to think, words fail me. Are these people 1) Adventurers, free-spirits and risk-takers? or 2) potential Darwin award nominees? Lisa

Both.
The Christians were fanatical about getting out the word of God and the reporter was fanatical about winning a Pulitzer Prize.
Both cases let their intense desires cloud their vision to do what was best for their future.
It's a magical world out there, let's go exploring! |

The reporter: Darwin award winna!
X-ians: If they're killed, Darwin award nominees.
The way I see it, christians are godless too...they just don't know it yet. |
