Occasionally after a shuttle mission, the crew members make the rounds to the various NASA centers for a presentation of what they did.
The Atlantis STS-104 crew is coming tomorrow at 11:30, and they usually have a Q&A session. So now's your chance! If there's any kind of question you've been dying to ask an astronaut, let me know, and I'll do my best to get an answer.
STS-104 Crew members visiting Marshall will be Commander Steven Lindsey; Pilot Charles Hobaugh; Mission Specialists Michael Gernhardt, James Reilly and Janet Kavandi.
I'm a little shy, so any questions that may make me look silly will not get asked!

How good is tang as a mixer? If it is good is it better with vodka or rum or tequilia?

Only if I can catch one after the presentation!

While on deployment, we were not allowed to take any alcohol. So we got sneaky. Beer is very heavy and hard to conceal. Tang isn't too bad with rum or vodka, but the powdered "Country Time" lemonade is much better. After some experimenting, we found that rum is too sweet for Tang and Lemonade. Vodka was much better. Ah, the sacrifices I've made for my country. Lisa

How fortunate we are that our men and women in uniform are willing to make such sacrifices!!
I'll have to try that Country Time cocktail and see if I like it. Thanks, Lisa!

That Country Time is good stuff. I wonder if we've shared that technology with the Russians. I can see it now..up on the space station, russian vodka and good old country time for a mixer.
I should mention that I was just on the beach on the Washington coast and it is sooo isolated. I could see all those stard that are impossible to see from home because it's so bright. I ws wishing I had my PDA with the astronomical info. I have a file BTW that I could put here as a download if anyone wants it for an easy reference if you're out and about star gazing.

Well @tomic, let's see it. I'm occassionally out stargazing at work. OK, so I walk outside alot.
Mmm, on the Country Time Lisa. It does work well. Only was never where we couldn't have alcohol, except when Hirohito died and all of Japan went into mourning.
