Interesting theory you've got there, furshur. Do you have any evidence to support either assertion?

Actually, no I do not have any evidence - I made up that tripe about spiders being unable to walk backwards...
The stupid puzzle was kicking my ass! |
If I knew then what I know now then I would know more now than I know. |

I hate to gloat, but I just got this one after 17 minutes of work.
It might have helped that I'd thought about tossing this very code at you, Ricky.
My reply will be forthcoming, shortly. |

Ok, are these puzzles or codes? Can they be solved just thinking about them or do you need to draw tables and all that jazz?

Drawing a map may help, since both of them only show you a small part of the whole thing at any given time (that's obvious: I'm not giving anything away there).
Other than that, for both the "spider puzzle" and this latest thing, there is no math required, nor any other sort of "substitution" needed, nor any need to worry about "bits" or "bytes" or "ASCII" or anything like that.
Not that just thinking about them will necessarily get you anywhere. At least some manual labor may be required. |
