I checked the solution to #8 and it is actually different than the one Dave steered me toward. You can start with a splitter and solve the puzzle, meaning I had more than one way I could have solved it, so now I feel like an even bigger moron. I'm not sure I even want to see the stuff that's hanging up you guys.

And I checked the solution to #19, too, and it was very different from the solution I came up with (in which I had some pieces left over). |

By the way, for those working on my latest What's the Secret Word puzzle, I've had a few guesses come my way via Private Messages here, but it's only fair to tell everyone what I told my correspondents: if you're taking a "stab" at a solution, it probably isn't right. Once you see the answer to the puzzle, you won't be timid about it, asking "I think it's blahblahblah," instead you'll know it's the right answer.
Oh, and nobody's figured it out, yet. |

All four of my Geocaching puzzles were solved by Dave W. in very short order. I'll admit they aren't near the challenge of the "secret word" puzzles he has posted here. A couple of those required some slightly abstract thinking, and the third I have started, but haven't invested enough time to solve it, yet. Eventually I will.

What the hell am I doing wrong?
| You've got the right idea, but two key pieces, the prism and the double mirror, are in the wrong place.
Double mirror spoiler:The double mirror should be directly below the first beam splitter.
Prism spoiler:The prism should be immediatly to the left of the lightbulb directly above the laser emitter.

No, this is a cool puzzle game: Gridlock! | Level 37 is kicking my butt. | Hey Dave, I just solved level 37. I think there's a glitch in the game though. On level 36 I was able to pull a piece completley off the board. Needless to say it made solving that level easy.
Your What's the Secret Word puzzle is kicking my ass though. It appears to be a maze of questions. I've mapped it roughly but I'm not seeing a clear pattern. One question: Is it significant that the first colored word is "in"? Should I be looking for an "out"? 'Cause I haven't been able to find one.
For those who don't yet have enough frustration in their lives, here's another cool puzzle game: Dyson's Telescope. |

Okay, all I've got left are the Christmas levels.
Did you see the popup menu labled "More Levels"? The Grandmaster levels are particularly tough. |

Okay, I finished all the Telescope levels yesterday.
For some reason, I have an urge to buy a vacuum cleaner.
Bwaaa ha ha ha! My plot to achieve world domination is in motion! Er... I mean, Congratulations Dave! Now don't you have a purchase to make?
PS: It really is just a vacuum. It's not a mind control device, I swear. |

Or, instead of waiting to get rich and then initiate my own competing plan for global control, I'll just take my revenge now:

Puzzle #4: What's the Secret Word? | Ah, your vengence is swift and deadly. I must report an astounding lack of success on both your latest puzzle and the previous one. I'm all but certain that they are beyond my current ability to figure out unaided.
A hint please! I'm begging you! God man! For the sake of the children!
...er unless there are objections. Perhaps Ricky or GeeMack is on the verge of a breakthrough. |
