To the moderators,

If this topic violates forum policies, I plead ignorance. I am NOT, in any way, affiliated, employed, or associated with the Bob Casey campaign. I repeat, I have NO connection with the Casey campaign, with the exception of being a PA state citizen as well as an American citizen.

To all,

The upcoming Senate race in Pennsylvania is an important one, both for PA and for the country. Our wonderful state senator, Skippy Santorum is up for re-election. Skippy feels that Boston's "liberalism" caused the Catholic Church molestation scandal. Skippy also felt that homosexual marraige threatened Homeland security. These are just a few of Skippy's idiotic ideas.

The most viable challenger is Bob Casey, Jr. Though his views on abortion and other issues may not make him anyone's ideal candidate, he is vastly superior to Skippy. I honestly can't see how an intelligent, open-minded, theocracy-fearing individual would prefer Skippy Santorum to Casey. Add in the current threat that the Repubs are to democracy in this country, and I am sure that all of you will see why this race isn't only pertinent to Pennsylvania.

Before I make my next request, let me make clear than I am NOT, in any way, affiliated, employed, or associated with the Bob Casey campaign. I repeat, I have NO connection with the Casey campaign, with the exception of being a PA state citizen as well as an American citizen.

As of today, the Casey campaign has 1.7 million in it's accounts with a primary coming up. Skippy Santorum has 3.5 million, plus the Republican juggernaut steered by Turd Blossom Rove. I am requesting, at the minimum that people try to increase knowledge regarding the importance of this campaign. If you can donate to Casey's campaign, please do. If you know people in PA, please call or e-mail and encourage them to kick Skippy out.

This is an extremely important race to try and break the Repub stranglehold on Washington. IF YOU FEAR A CHRISTIAN THEOCRACY, THEN "SKIPPY" SANTORUM IS THE MOST IMPORTANT PERSON TO REMOVE NOW!!!!

Please refrain from turning this topic into either an argument regarding the merits and shortcomings of Casey. The Republicans are unified. We need to be as well.

Thank you for reading.

Fripp, welcome to the SFN.

We have had political debates here during the last Presidential campaign where we urged others to vote for one candidate or another. I don't see this post as violating forum policies. I do hope that you stick around to debate.

Good luck in ejecting Rick Santorum. However, the audience here is rather far flung.

I quite frankly don't give a bubonic, dingo's kidney if you are Casey hisowndamnself trying to sneak in a backdoor plug; Samtorum's a flaming asshole and needs an extended vacation from the political scene. Wishing all good luck with that.

And welcome to SFN!

If you mean contributions to a candidate or party, the answer is no, unless you have permanent resident status in the USA.
