The bite was dry (I don't think she's capable of injecting venom at this point) and recieved while treating the snake for a serious case of canker mouth, that I wish I'd found a few days ago, off and on during chat.
She's not really mean, Doc, just defensive. She's still hanging in, but the outlook isn't any brighter now than then. Her weight's dropped and today, I am going to attempt a small, assisted feeding.

Glad to hear that the bite was dry. I was looking for you to post today so that I wouldn't have to worry about you... Of course, I know that you know what your doing but what can I say? I worry. It's in my nature I guess...

Thanks mom.... 
It's a nothing bite, Kil, although I'm a little concerned with infection. I've flushed it with iodine, which is even less fun than you imagine. The finger is a little fat, but that comes from all of the digging around I did to get the fang out finally got it with a hyperdermic needle). There's a slight discoloration, but none of the blebs that usually pop up from this species.
If the snake fails to show some improvement very soon, I fear I'm going to have to euthanize her. I fucking hate that!
