           	| Last night, the King of Saudi Arabia died.  While he was infirm for many years, it still seems like a bad time for this to happen. 
 What do you skeptics think?  Will this be the start of more hysteria?  Another windfall for Halliburton?  An opportunity for extremists of various stripes?

 King Fahd was no more than a figurehead since his stroke in 1995. His son had been running the day to day business. I forsee no change.

| I know he was a figurehead for the past decade, but still, he was nominally king.  And without a clear line of succession [a la the Brit royal fam], the death of a figurehead can inspire a power struggle. 
 Plus, I wonder if people in the American administration look at this as an opportunity to force their views/plans on the Saudis.
