It wouldn't suprise me all that much from a football coach, but this goober is a science teacher as well?! quote: BEND, Ore. -- An Oregon high school teacher has gotten a tongue-lashing for his wound-licking.
Oregon's teacher standards board has voted to publicly reprimand the science teacher and football coach, who was accused of licking the bleeding wounds of several students.
The board also voted to place Scott Reed on two years' probation.
Reed agreed with the "stipulated facts" of the case: that he licked blood from wounds on a runner's knee, a football player's arm, and another student's hand.
Correct me if I'm wrong, but we did just discuss the quality of teachers in another thread, yes? My point in that one has just been made...

Evidentially he slept through all of his OSHA training, too.

Perhaps this coach is a dabbler in the vampire lifestyle. There are folks who engage in recreational and/or spiritual consumption of blood [usually from willing partners].
And, I only saw this on TV - no one I know personally does this. |

That's assuming that the focus is on the blood and not the licking.
What about all the grass and dirt and sweat and such that is also in the mix.
Maybe it's a taste test. Hannable Lecter, anyone? |
