So on occasion (OK, daily) I listen to Baltimore's Christian FM station 95.1, which, to be honest, sucks-- even for a Christian station.
Anyhow, tonight, I heard that jackf%#@k D. James Kennedy go off on evolution. You can hear his lame rant here (look for "The Glorious Creation (Part 1))"
What chaps me off is how badly he lies!! For instance, he spends a few minutes going on about how ancient or primative languages are "more complex" and thus contrary to evolution. Huh? When does evolution say that languages get more complex over time?
He also lies when he quotes Gould. His quote-- ripped out of context-- suggests that Gould saw humans as no better than twigs. But since there's no reference, it's hard to say. However, a Google search shows that Kennedy is nothing but a cock-sucking Christian whore who'll say anything to get cash in the collection plate:quote:

Kennedy wanted to suggest that Gould-- and his atheistic, evolutionary ilk-- saw humans as nothing but twigs. But in context, he said nothing of the sort.
And yet Kennedy calls himself a Christian!
I'm already in the process of writing a letter destroying his arguments-- if they can be called that!-- but I fear it won't be enough.
My solution: hit 'em where it hurts. Order his fucking book offering-- The Collapse of Evolution-- at 800-229-9673. You can get it for free, no shipping, no nothing. We can even "review" it at the Book Reviews section, or on a chat. They're asking $8, which means that in reality, the book is cheap-- people like Kennedy are whores, and the dollar is king. Thus, this won't hurt so much. But still, getting it for free (tell 'em you'd love to donate, but you can't do it just this moment) is a way to send a message...
And even if you don't have a listen to his bullshit. More, it seems, is on the way!!!
