Well, paying that much is questionable...
While radar-detectors and laser-interference devices are illegal in Sweden, there are SMS-services that warns potential ticket-holders of checkpoints.
But nothing really beats the ultimate solution: keeping the speed-limits.
We also have stationary automated cameras that capture speeders: licence plate of car checks against owners driving-licence photo, and when there's a match, they get the ticket in the mail. These cameras poses no problem when I'm having my bike for a spin: without a plate at the front, they can't identify me. |
