Oh pleeease! Sheehan is getting absurd attacks from FOX news, from Limbaugh, from Republican paid attackers, and many others. Most of it is undeserved and the public sympathizes with her, that's why it hasn't made the same headlines as Robertson's murderous statement.
And make that 8 commandments because Robertson had to toss out the 'do not bear false witness' in order to lie and claim he was misunderstood. Robertson claimed he meant other things by, "Take him out," but he forgot he had also said, "If Chavez thinks we will assassinate him we should just go ahead and do it." So I guess it's officially OK to lie and kill. |
